Low Carb. It's not a fad. It is truly one of THE healthiest ways to eat. I know it. I've known it for years. I was strictly low carb for 1.5 years from 2009 - June 2010. However - after DH and I got married, I stopped eating low carb because I thought we'd get pregnant immediately...

So yeah. I weighed 160 pounds at our wedding, after having lost 37 pounds in 2009 doing Low Carb...but when we got married, I started "slipping"...I'd go back and forth and lose some, only to gain it back again and at the beginning of 2012, I was back up to 193...I lost some this year, as I started running - getting down to 185... but when we started our IVF treatments 2 months ago...I just went crazy and - no thanks to the fertility meds (which I blame a LOT of my weight gain on)...I haven't gotten on a scale in months, but I can guarantee that not only am I back over 200 lbs, but I easily gained 20-30 pounds back. :(
I may get on the scale soon to see.
Thing is, my hubs is not happy with his weight right now either. He wants to get back to the gym as well as eating healthy. And he's all about going low carb with me. :)
Now - in January we will be doing our first FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer) with hopefully just two of our four frozen embryos. But either way - I need to eat healthy once I'm pregnant anyways - so I need to get back to living the low carb life regardless. :)
So this is our blog for me to document our return to the Low Carb Life!
